AEW Signs a Massive TV Deal in India with Eurosport

All Elite Wrestling has officially signed a TV deal in India with EuroSport. AEW India is officially on its way!

Eurosport already has the television rights to NJPW and IMPACT Wrestling in India. AEW might just be the most valuable addition to their wrestling lineup.  They start broadcasting AEW shows and PPVs from 15th August.

WWE has been targeting the Indian audience for a very long time now. They broadcasted the Superstar Spectacle on 26th January this year only in India to showcase their Indian athletes.

What is AEW?

Well if you haven’t been living under a rock for the past couple of years then you would know what All Elite Wrestling is.

AEW started in 2019 and has been a huge success ever since. They are the first company to rival WWE at this level since Ted Turner’s WCW. 

The company was started by Cody, The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega. Tony Khan, the owner of Jacksonville Jaguars is the President of the company.

They have some of THE best talents in the world on their roster including former WWE stars such as Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley (Dean Ambrose), Matt Hardy, Miro (Rusev), Malakai Black (Aleister Black), and Cody to name a few.

More Details about AEW India

They are looking forward to starting their second weekly television show called Rampage on August 13th. It will be the first piece of AEW content televised in India on 15th August. 

This TV deal by AEW is a sign that they also want in on this huge, widely untapped market of audience in India.

An international deal like this is what AEW needed at this stage. Their future looks very bright.
