West Indies vs South Africa in the fourth T20 of the five-match series at 11:30 p.m. IST in Grenada. The Proteas are ahead by 2-1 in the series. Here Is the preview For the 4th match between West Indies vs South Africa.

Preview West Indies vs South Africa-

West Indies have a power-packed batting lineup. They bat till the 9th number. These are the batsman West Indies can rotate with. Andre Fletcher and Evin Lewis are doing great at the top. They both open and set up a good partnership up front with a lot of damage.
The problem arises when one wicket goes down. West Indies is a team that goes all bonkers from the word go. And with their batting depth, they can afford this. Lewis is their highest scorer right now with 119 runs at an average of 39.67.

In the bowling department, Obed McCoy has been the find of this series for the Caribbeans. He is the highest wicket-taker so far with 7 wickets to his name and that too at an economy rate of just 6.42. DJ Bravo is still going strong at this age. With him on your side, you always have wickets and dances around you. Bravo has scalped 5 wickets in total.

South Africa needs to sort out their middle-order woes. Their top order has been amazing, all credit to Quinton de Cock. He is the highest scorer with 135 runs at an average of 45. Reeza Hendricks got runs in one match but hasn’t been consistent. Temba Bavum, their skipper is still in search of his form post-injury. Van der Dussen manages to slog down the order. David Miller, the most experienced guy, has not been true to his powers.

South Africa’s strength has been its bowling. Tabraiz Shamsi is the best for them. He gives justice to his T20I ranking. Utilizing the pitch and sticking to his plans, he has given runs at an economy of just 4.67. Imagine this economy against a power-packed side of the West Indies. Anrich Nortje assists him well enough. The pace trio of Ngidi-Nortje-Rabada is doing wonders for South Africa. In the last 2 matches, Nortje has bowled two masterclass penultimate overs. Rabada has been rather expensive but he gets big fish like Kieron Pollard out.

About the pitch :-

The pitch has been sluggish and not true to the batting so far in the three matches. It is a two paced wicket and slower balls work here. Obed McCoy and Dwayne Bravo have treasured from this. Tabraiz Shamsi has been magical, a lot of credit to the pitch!
