Sukesh Hegde is a professional kabaddi player who plays for state team Karnataka and Bengal Warriors in the Pro Kabaddi League. He was born on 2 October 1989 in Karkala, Karnataka. Sukesh has always helped the teams he has played for by scoring more than 64 points every season when he has played more than 10 games in the season.

Sukesh was born and brought up in a humble environment in a small village with very small family background. His hard work and dedication turned him from a struggling athlete into a Kabaddi star.

Career of Sukesh Hegde

Sukesh Hegde started his Pro Kabaddi League career with Telugu Titans in season 1. In season 5 he signed for Gujrat Fortunegiants as their captain for their maiden campaign. He then signed for Tamil Thalaivas. In 2019 he was bought by the Bengal Warriors.

Sukesh helped Maninder Singh and K.Prapanjan in the raiding department in season 9. He was not in the starting 7 but would help Bengal whenever the other two raiders failed. Sukesh was an important member of Bengal Warriors which won their first-ever Pro Kabaddi League title in 9 seasons. He scored 62 raid points in 142 raids in the previous season.
