Sandeep Narwal is a professional kabaddi player who plays for Indian National Team and U Mumba in the Pro Kabaddi League. Narwal was born on 5 April 1993 in Sonipat, Haryana. Sandeep showed signs of talents since childhood. He started pursuing the sport from the age of 8. Narwal was selected for the Indian team in 2011. Sandeep was a part of the gold medal Indian Contingent at the South Asian Games, 2016. He was also part of the title-winning Indian team for Kabaddi World Cup 2016 and Dubai Masters 2018. Narwal was also part of the Indian team that won the bronze medal in the 2018 Asian Games. Currently, Sandeep is working in the Income Tax department.

Career

Sandeep Narwal began his PKL career with Patna Pirates and was an essential member of the team for the first three seasons. He also captained the Pirates in Season 2. In Season 4 Narwal signed for Telugu Titans. He signed for Puneri Paltan for season 5 and was retained for Season 6. In Season 7 Sandeep was bought by U Mumba.

 With 53 successful tackles, Therefore Narwal was awarded the Best defender of the season in the third season of the Pro Kabaddi League. Sandeep has crossed the 200point mark in both raiding and defending and is one of the most reputed all-rounders of the tournament. Narwals all-round abilities always helps the teams he has played for.
