Parvesh Bhainswal is a professional kabaddi player who plays for Indian National Team and Gujrat Fortune Giants in the Pro Kabaddi League. Bhainswal was born on 12 April 1997 in Howrah, West Bengal. However, he was brought up in a village in the small town of Bhainswal in the Sonipat district of Haryana. He appeared in the U-14 nationals and also the school nationals. Parvesh Bhainswal drew attention while playing University nationals. He won 2 University gold medals in consecutive seasons. He was selected for the Indian Junior squad Asian Kabaddi Championship.

Career

Parvesh Bhainswal began his Pro Kabaddi League career with Jaipur Pink Panthers in season 4. However, he wasn’t able to perform to his utmost potential in his maiden season. Hence, the panthers released him ahead of the 5th season.

In season 5, Gujrat Fortune Giants bought Parvesh. Parvesh was one of the most successful campaigners. His active presence ensured a successful campaign for his franchise as they managed to reach the Pro Kabaddi League final in their very first season. Therefore, Parvesh was retained by the team for season 6 as well. Parvesh improved his game by a great level and finished as the second-best defender of the league. He scored 86 points from 25 matches and was an important member of the team as the Fortune Giants reached the finals for the consecutive year. Parvesh’s performance in Season 6 saw him become the highest-paid player of Gujarat Fortune Giants. Using the Final Bid Match card at the auctions. Parvesh once again was the highest-scoring defender for the team. He scored 55 tackle points from 22 matches.
