Girish Maruti Ernak is a professional kabaddi player who plays for Indian National Team and Puneri Paltan in the Pro Kabaddi League. Ernak was born on 22 December 1992 in Kalyan, Maharashtra. PT teacher discovered Girish. Ever since there has been no turning back for Ernak. Coming from a humble background Girish did not have money to afford the diet required for a sport like Kabaddi. Therefore, he spent his mornings distributing newspapers and used the money he earned to meet his dietary expenditures. Girish was a part of India’s 2018 Kabaddi Masters Dubai winning team.

Career of Girish Ernak

Girish Ernak began his Pro Kabaddi League career with Patna Pirates in season 1. In Season 3, Bengal Warriors bought Ernak. He formed a formidable partnership with Right corner Nilesh Shinde in Season 3 for Bengal Warriors. Hence, he was retained for season 4. Bengal Warriors released Girish after an average season. In Season 5 Puneri Paltan Bought Girish. Hence, Girish was retained for season 6. Therefore, being named as the captain of the franchise. In Season 7, Puneri Paltan retained Girish.

Girish has crossed the 200 Tackle Point Mark in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League. Hence, He is an asset to the team he represents. Girish is an excellent defender operating from the left corner and has been a major contributor to his team’s success. Therefore, in his free time, he enjoys working out in the gym, swimming, and traveling.
