Suryakumar Yadav has been around for a while now. And he has been playing some good cricket in the IPL and the domestic circuit as well. Analysts of the game have been praising his game and the fans of Indian Cricket wanted to see him play for the country. He got the opportunity in the ongoing t20 series between India and England. He had a dream start to his international career. Sky could not have asked for more.

IPL 2020 and The Tour of Australia.

Suryakumar had one of his best IPL seasons in 2020. Playing for Mumbai Indians, he has moved to the top of the batting order, and that has changed how everyone saw him as a player. In IPL 2020, he was an integral part of the MI squad. He scored 480 runs in the season and helped the team win quite a few matches. Looking at his performance in the season, everyone was sure that he would be selected in the white ball squad for India‚Äôs tour of Australia. When he was not included in the squad everyone was a bit disappointed.

Suryakumar Yadav in India vs England series.

He finally got the Indian call-up for a 5 match t20 series against England. He was included in the eleven for the second match but did not get a chance to bat. Later he was dropped in the third match and brought back in the fourth one. This time he was promoted to no. 3, and he made the best out of this opportunity. He scored a six off the first-ever ball he faced in t20 international cricket and became only the first Indian to do so and eighth in the world. He went on to score a half-century in the innings until he was given out because of the soft signal given by the onfield umpire.

Keeping that aside, his batting, was fearless and we wish that he continues to play just like that in the upcoming matches.
