Romelu Lukaku Bolingoli is a professional football player from Belgian. 

He plays for Serie A club Inter Milan and Belgium national team as a striker. 

Romelu is one of those few players who have scored a goal in 50 premier leagues before turning 23 

 He also has a record of 31 goals scored for the Belgian national team.


Romelu’s date of birth is 13th May 1993 and was born in Antwerp, Belgium, and was raised in a Congo-originated family.

He grew up in a football-loving family and he surly inherited his passion for football from his father.

His father, Roger Lukaku also played football professionally. Even his younger and older brother plays football.

Hence Romelu was enrolled in a local football club, Rupel Boom since he was just five years old. 

Romelu Lukaku | Career

Romelu was discovered by the Lierse club after playing four seasons for Rupel Boom. His talent helped him getting into a Belgian Pro League club during his youth years.

He played for the club till 2004 and scored a total of 121 goals in 68 matches after that he was purchased by Anderlecht. 

With Anderlecht, he had a 3-year deal and he scored 131 goals and a played total of 93 matches. 

On his birthday he signed a professional contract for three years, for starting he was a substitute but for later matches, he appeared as a regular member.

In his first match with Anderlecht, he scored his first goal at senior level in a match against Zulte Waregem. 

Lukaku has played for a lot of clubs like Anderlecht, Chelsea, Everton, Manchester United, and Inter Milan. 

To sum it up he has played 294 matches and scored a total of 244 goals till now in his football career.  

International Career

Lukaku has made 89 international appearances till 2020 and has scored 57 goals for Belgium national team. 

In 2013 he scored 2 scores against Croatia making a way for Belgium in the world cup finals and he was taken for the 2014 world cup after that.

He made a hat trick against Luxembourg in a match and Belgium won by 5-1, after doing this his chances of being a national team striker went up.  

Romelu scored twice in the 2018 world cup against Tunisia and Tunisia lost 5-2. He scored a total of 4 goals in that world cup.
