Sherfane Rutherford is a 22-year-old professional Guyanese cricketer, known for his big-hitting abilities.

He plays for Guyana Amazon Warriors and made his debut in the Caribbean Premier League 2018.

In 2008 he also made his International debut with the West Indies cricket team.

His amazing performance caught the eye of the cricketing world.

After this, he has played in several T2O Leagues across the world. 

Domestic Career

On 15 April 2017 Sherfane Rutherford made his debut for Guyana in the Regional Four Day Competition.

Next year he made it into the List A of Guyana and played in the Regional Super50. 

He made it into the West Indies B team for the inaugural edition of the Global T20 Canada.

Sherfane became the leading run-scorer in the tournament for the B Team, by making 20 runs in eight matches.

He made his Twenty20 debut for Guyana Amazon Warriors on 9 August 2018.

Sherfane bought by the Delhi Capital for the 2019 Indian Premier League.

In July 2020, he is again going to be in the Guyana squad for the 2020 Caribbean Premier League.

International Career

Sherfane Rutherford selected in the West Indies Twenty20 International squad for the series against India.

He didn’t get to play in this series. Later he made his T20I debut against Bangladesh on 22 December 2018.
