ATANU DAS
ATANU DAS is a 29 years old Indian archer who has represented India in Team events and the Recurve Men’s individual events. He was born on 5th of April 1992. He started to train himself with the coach – Mithu Da.
PERSONAL LIFE
Atanu das was born in the city of kolkata, West Bengal, India.His zodiac sign is Aries. He completed in schooling in Baranagar Naeendranath vidyamandir, kolkata. Atanu persued his Bachelor’s degree ( BA ( hons ) ) at Vinayaga Missions university, Salem, Tamil nadu. He got married to former world no. 1 Deepika Kumari in ranchi on 30 June 2020.
CAREER
Atanu is a budding talent in his area of interest. He moved to Tata Archery Academy in 2008, where he was trained under the coach – Lim Chae Wong. He is currently employed in Kolkata in Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited.
ATANU DAS | FIRST ARCHERY COUPLE AT OLYMPICS:-
Atanu Das and Deepika Kumari will be India’s first couple who will be taking part at the Olympics in Tokyo later this year And will also be the first Archery couple to take part at the Olympics in the same event.
“We’re husband and wife now, but it’s really a partnership” Deepika told. I am very happy with the way the trial went and I am now confirmed for the Olympics.We are engaged since 2018, Atanu and
initial plans were to get married only after the Tokyo Olympics but it was the coronavirus pandemic that allowed them to bring forward their plans without losing out on valuable competition time.
