Sohail Khan who hails from Malakand, North-West Frontier Province was born on March 6, 1984. He is really quick due to the strength that he built up by throwing stones and swimming in rivers on the mountainous terrains of NWFP.
EARLY LIFE OF SOHAIL:
Sohail played tennis-ball cricket from a very young age. Following an advice from a relative, Sohail Khan moved to Karachi and entered into a speed hunt talent contest organized by former Pakistan bowler Sikandar Bakht and he was the winner.
In his first-class debut match of Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, he impressed in his first match itself by picking a ten-wicket haul. While playing for Sui Southern Gas Corporation, Sohail performed really well and grabbed 65 wickets in first nine matches, which includes eight five-wicket hauls.
