The Kolkata Knight Riders clashed with the Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede, today in the Indian Premier League 2021 where the Rajasthan Royals registered another win against the Kolkata team. The Knight Riders set off a target of 134 for the Rajasthan Royals which the latter chases with just four wickets down and seven balls still remaining.
Rajasthan chased It down with ease. Clinical display by Rajasthan, they lost their openers early, but skipper Sanju Samson was joined by Dube in the middle. They both put a solid partnership to ensure that they motor along well. Dube fell and Tewatia fell soon too. But samson was solid as a rock and he was joined by Miller. These two saw Rajasthan over the line. On the other hand, Kolkata bowled with all their heart but the target was too low for them to make a match out of it. Mavi and Chakravarthy bowled well. The same did Narine and Krishna but they could not pick up regular wickets to put the pressure on the Rajasthan lineup.

Sanju Samson, the Rajasthan skipper, says that the bowlers did well to restrict Kolkata to 133. He adds that it was a brilliant effort from their bowlers. Further, he says that Chetan Sakariya is a very happy character and the team is happy having him. Eoin Morgan, the Kolkata skipper on the other hand, mentions that the batsmen did not bat with intent in the whole innings. Further he says that they could not get the 2 points but they move to Ahmedabad from here and will look for a change in fortunes.
