Karachi Kings vs Multan Sultans: The Karachi Kings showed their dominance over the Quetta Gladiators to start their campaign in the 2021 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The team played like the defending champions, chasing down 122 with more than six overs to spare.
Even in their second game against Islamabad United, they looked set for consecutive victories after Sharjeel Khan smashed a jaw-dropping ton.
But they couldn’t defend 196 and lost by five wickets against Islamabad United. In the next match, Imad Wasim’s team would be up against the Multan Sultans in Saturday’s doubleheader in Karachi. The Sultans, led by Mohammad Rizwan had lost both their games in the start and are placed at the bottom half.
