Indian cricketer captain Virat Kohli will now be going to join the kabaddi fever when the pro kabaddi League arrives in Mumbai. Kohli will clear cheer for the U Mumba on the 27th of July, that is tomorrow. The Mumbai leg open with the Maharashtra derby between the Puneri Paltan and U Mumba touted to be as one of the toughest games of the season. It is also special as former U Mumba Capital Anup Kumar, has turned to be a coach for Puneri Paltan in the season 7.
Virat Kohli will be present at Dome, National Sports Club of India in Mumbai cheering with the fans for the Maharashtra derby followed by the Jaipur Pink Panther vs. Bengal Warriors.
Before that, a League statement had claimed that Kohli would be present in the match as well as the India West Indies Test match on the 27th of August. According to the report, the Indian skipper “will be singing the national anthem on August 27, 2019, ahead of one of the toughest games of the season — the Maharashtra derby between U Mumba and Puneri Paltan, coached by Anup Kumar, a former U Mumba captain”.
He will be there at Dome, National Sports Club of India in Mumbai “cheering with the fans for the Maharashtra derby followed by Jaipur Pink Panthers vs. Bengal Warriors,” said the statement.
Earlier it was revealed that Kohli will be rested for the limited-overs section of the West Indies tour which beings on the 3rd August and ends on the 3rd of September.
