UP Yoddha is now all set to take on Bengal Warriors in their opening clash of the Pro Kabaddi League 2019 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad in the first clash of the doubleheader on Wednesday.
The Match will be going to start at 7:30 PM IST is expected to be a well-fought one considering the raiding unit and defenders in both the sides.
The trio of the Monu Goyat, Rishank Devadiga, and Shrikanth Jadhav made their presence felt for the UP Yoddha last season. They will even be expected to step up and lead the side on to wins in this season as well.
In case of an off day, Mohsen Magdhsoudlou is another capable player who even enjoys the ability to be a match-winner.
On the other hand, Bengal Warriors invested heavily in the services of Mohammad Naabibakhsh. The Iranian all-rounder was even signed for a massive sum of INR 77 lakh and will be expected to lead the raiding unit along with the Maninder Singh.
The duo can even further expect quality support from the Sukesh Hegde, Mohammad Taghi, Rakesh, and Prapanjan.
The UP Yoddha defense is also extremely strong following the presence of the Nitesh Kumar who accumulated the highest number of tackle points last season. All-rounder Sachin Kumar or any other emerging youngster Sumit are further expected to provide support in the left corner position with the Narendar slotting into the position of the right cover.
The Bengal Warriors Defensive unit comprises of the Baldev Singh, Rinku Narwal, Vijin Thangadurai, and Jeeva Kumar.
While experienced Jeeva Kumar will be expected to lead the defense, he will need support from the likes of Vijin Thangadurai and Baldev Singh who is even capable of slotting into the left cover position.
