So, the action continues on the 4th day of Pro Kabaddi League 2019 as UP Yoddha take on the Bengal Warrior in the first encounter of the day at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.
Both the team will be playing their first game of this season and more essentially under two first time captains with the Nitesh Kumar set to lead the UP Yoddha while on the other hand, Maninder Singh will be the captain of the Bengal Warriors.
Having retained the core of their defensive unit from the previous season, the UP Yoddha have done well to sign the services which are being famed riding into the Rishank Devadiga, Monu Goyat and Shrikant Jadhav who will also be the key for their chances in a team against a beefed-up defensive unit of the Warriors.
With the addition of the burly all-rounder Mohammad Nabibakhsh to the team, the Iranian will be ranked on to keep the raiders from scoring some of the quick points, and he will also have the company of veteran cover defender Jeevan, who will need to fill in the void that is left behind by the Surjeet.
On the point of raiding, Maninder Singh will be the ‘X factor’ for the Warriors and will have the likes of the Sukesh, K Prapanjan and Ravindra Kumawart for playing the roles to support with ease.
In what will be an exciting one on one tussle, Maninder will be up against his opposite number in the Nitesh, and that one battle could even undoubtedly have a huge impact on the outcome of the game.
With both teams keen to get off to mark on a winning note, it will be interesting to see which teams register their first win of the competition.
