PBKS vs MI
In the last season of the PBKS vs MI match, we saw a double super over in a single match. This was the first time in IPL history and also Cricketing history. Will we see a similar action-packed match this time? That is yet to be seen, but we can expect a great rivalry. This is the final match of Mumbai Indians’ Chennai leg.
Mumbai Indians have had problems with their middle-order. Only one of their player has performed once, Kieron Pollard scored 35 runs in their third match. If you look at their squad, they have one of the best middle-order lineups. They have Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, and even Kieron Pollard. All these are match winners, and from now on, they will have to concentrate on their basics and work their way up to the form that they need.
PBKS have that one problem for a long time now, they are not consistent at all. They play extremely well in one match, and exactly opposite in the next match. Their last match was not played up to their standard. Their batting collapsed, and they could not reach a par total. In the second innings, SRH built partnerships and won that match with all the ease. PBKS needs to regroup and play stronger batting innings. They are a very talented side and can perform well under proper guidance.
Toss and Pitch Conditions
The pitch at Chennai is on the slower side, and the teams will have to play carefully. Especially Punjab Kings, because they have had a couple of batting collapses. The team winning the toss will want to bat first and defend the target later on.
