Patrício Early Life:

Rui Pedro dos Santos Patrício come on the earth on 15 February 1988. He is a Portuguese professional footballer. He plays as a goalkeeper  for two teams basically which are named as:

 1) Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers 

2) Portugal national team.

He spent most of his career with Sporting CP, before moving to England. At the age of 18 he made his 1st team debut and going on to appear top in 467 official games. He bagged 5 trophies during his 12 years with the club. Also, he received two Portuguese Cups.

Patrício earned his 1st cap for Portugal in 2010, after Paulo Bento’s appointment as head coach. He represented the nation in 2 World Cups and 3 European Championships. He winning the 2016 edition of the latter tournament as well as the 2019 Nations League.

Patrício was included in Bento’s 23-man squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup as first-choice.
