Pardeep Narwal is a professional kabaddi player who plays for Indian National Team and Patna Pirates in the Pro Kabaddi League. Narwal was born on 16 February 1997 in Rindhana, Sonipat, Haryana. Pardeep is one of the most prominent players in the Pro Kabaddi League. He is currently the highest raid-point scorer in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League. Pardeep Narwal is the first to score 1000 points in the Pro Kabaddi League. Narwal has lead the Pirates to 3 consecutive Pro Kabaddi League titles. Pardeep also has numerous League records under his belt. Narwal is a regular feature for the Indian kabaddi team since 2016 and has won gold in three of the four tournaments that he has played. Those include the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup, Asian Kabaddi Championship 2017, 2018 Dubai Kabaddi Masters, and 2019 South Asian Games.

Career

Pardeep started his Pro Kabaddi League career in Season 2 with Bengaluru Bulls. He then moved to Patna in Season 3. He blossomed as one of the best raiders of the League. Alongside Rohit Kumar, Narwal formed the league’s most potent raiding duo.

Pardeep took over the responsibility of being the Pirates’ lead raider and enjoyed another sensational campaign after Rohit left for the Bulls in Season 4. Therefore, Narwal’s performance in season 4 helped the Pirates win the Pro Kabaddi League title for the second time in a row. Narwal’s third season with the Pirates was arguably the best by any player in Pro Kabaddi League history, as the raider notched up 369 raid points. With the splendid performance, Pradeep helped the Pirates win the Title for the 3rd consecutive year. Narwals performance for Patna has always helped the team out of difficult situations. He became the first player to cross the 1000 raid point mark in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League.
