The Tokyo Olympics 2020 is right around the corner. The Olympic games were originally scheduled for 2020, however, they were delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, the Tokyo Olympics 2020 is scheduled to be held from 23rd July to 8th August. There is a lot of build-up and training going around to get to the top place at the Olympics. There are many promising athletes from all around in each sport category.

1- PV Sindhu

Star badminton player from India, PV Sindu, is India’s biggest hope for a gold medal at the Olympics. She came extremely close to winning the gold medal at the Rio 2016 Olympics. Unfortunately, Sindhu was beaten by Spain’s Carolina Marin in the final and had to settle with the silver medal. She is the only shuttler in the women’s singles category this year.

2- Neeraj Chopra

Neeraj joined the Army as the Joint Commissioned Officer in 2016. He holds the current national record of javelin throw of 88.07 m. He won gold medals at the 2018 Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games.

Neeraj is another really strong contender for an Olympic medal this year.

3- Saurabh Chaudhary
