Mirabai Chanu successfully lifted the 84kg and 87kg weights. However, she failed to lift the 89kg weight and settled for the silver medal. China’s Zhihu lifted 94kg to create an Olympic record. Mirabai Chanu lifted 115kg in the clean and jerk event to create an Olympic Record.

Chanu was smiling after winning the silver medal. She has finally overcome her loss at the 2016 Rio Olympics where she failed to perform, unfortunately. Chanu has made the whole nation proud.
