The Nation Realizes The Mettle Of The Women’s Hockey Team…
The Women’s Hockey Team has shown everyone what they are capable of. Giving a tough fight to Great Britain in the Olympics. The coaches have clearly said that the women’s team has the potential to become world no. 1 provided that they get enough opportunities.
Let us hope that the stories of these women inspire future generations. The last match we played under pressure was almost 2 years ago in the Olympics qualifiers. They (women’s hockey team) need more of these matches. And the only way I can think of is, organizing Hockey India League & tournaments. I hope these things will happen in future because that is the only way to make the next stepSjoerd Marijne, head coach, Indian women’s hockey team
