Indian Men’s Archery Team Finish 9th in the Men’s Ranking Round at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 | Final Results and Rankings

While Deepika Kumari finished at the 9th spot in the Women’s ranking round, none of the three male Indian Archers finished in the TOP 30. Atanu Das, Pravin Jadhav, and Tarundeep Rai failed to make it into the Top 30 in the Ranking round. The Indian Men’s Archery Team ranked 9th in the Men’s Ranking Round on 23rd July.

The male Indian archers went off to an unfortunate start at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Pravin Jadhav, Atanu Das, and Tarundeep Rai finished at 31st, 35th, and 37th positions respectively.

India’s Top archer Atanu Das had a disappointing finish at the 35th spot. On the other hand, Tarundeep Rai started bad and was somewhere in the 40s but he came back strong in the second half with scores 54, 55, 56, 54, 56, 55. He eventually landed the 37th spot.

For the Mixed Round India has been ranked 9th with a final score of 1319. The mixed team is made up of the highest-scoring male and female archer from a nation. The team will have Deepika Kumari and Pravin Jadhav as the members.
