Indian Golfer Anirban Lahiri Qualifies For The Tokyo Olympics 2020

Star Indian Golfer Anirban Lahiri qualified for the Tokyo Olympics 2020. He managed to get into the last slot in the Olympic Games. According to the organizers he was selected at the 60th spot which is the last according to the quota. This is the second consecutive time Lahiri has qualified for the Olympics.

Anirban Lahiri is already underway with his training. He potentially has about 5 events before the Tokyo Olympics coming his way.

Golf was removed form the Olympics long back in the 1900s. It was later reinstated during the last Rio 2016 Olympic Games. It will be extremely exciting to see Anirban Lahiri perform in the Olympics Games again.

“I’m feeling really blessed and fortunate right now. I was obviously not expecting it.
I had no clue or information about what was going on with the withdrawals. I’m
just beginning to realize and plan for it as to what I’m going to do over the next
month,”

Lahiri said.
