The Olympics 2020 is finally happening. The COVID19 pandemic had delayed the Olympic Games by one year. The Olympics are scheduled to begin on 23rd July 2021. This year’s Olympics is big for India as India has sent its largest-ever contingent. The contingent includes 127 athletes who will compete in 18 different sports. The Sony Sports Network is the Official Broadcastor of the Olympics 2020 for India. Sony Sports network will telecast the Games on Five different channels. The channels are given below:
- SONY SIX
- SONY TEN 1
- SONY TEN 2
- SONY TEN 3
- SONY TEN 4
The channels will broadcast the Games in 4 different languages. The SonyLiv mobile application and website will also stream the Olympics LIVE. English commmentry will be available on SONY TEN 1 and SONY TEN 2 while Hindi commentary will be on SONY TEN 3.
Along with SONY Sports the National broadcaster Prasar Bharati’s Doordarshan will also broadcast the Games LIVE. However, unlike the SONY Sports Network, Doordarshan will only telecast the Indian matches.
