She also qualified for the final on Saturday night, yet she has not yet been confirmed to take part in the title race.

In cases of severe injury, the qualification battle of the 4x100m women’s relay team for the Tokyo Games is a major blow because Hima is an integral part of the quartet, including Dutee Chand, Dhanalakshmi, and Archana Suseendran.

If she doesn’t reach the relay team, Hima is unlikely to get it to Tokyo. However, Assam’s starting sprinter also attempts to qualify for the 200m event at the Games.
