Canoe Slalom Competition Schedule: Tokyo Olympics 2020

Overview

Canoe Slalom is a water sport in which the competitors pass over a white watercourse in a canoe or kayak. The course is about 250m long and is designed as a combination of both upstream and downstream gates. There are about 6 to 8 upstream gates.

The goal of the sport is to finish the course in the least time possible. The course takes about 95 seconds to be completed.
