Format of the T20 World Cup 2024
The 2024 Men’s T20 World Cup will have a total of 20 teams, divided into four groups of five teams each. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super 8s, further divided into two groups of four teams each. The top two teams from each group will then play in the semi-finals, followed by the final. The tournament is set to be co-hosted by the West Indies and the United States of America from June 4 to June 30, 2024. The qualified teams include the host nations, the top eight teams from the 2022 T20 World Cup, the top two best-ranked unqualified teams, and teams that won the regional qualifiers.
