As the Indian and New Zealand test teams battle for the first ICC World Test Championship (WTC) trophy, former Captain Kapil Dev shared his thoughts on the long-awaited event.
Kapil said a “three test final” would be desirable to determine these important titles on Mid-Day. Kapil said “WTC , by the ICC to disseminate preliminary matches. I’m sure it will be good cricket for the general public. I think the three test finals are great.”
Both teams will play the final on June 18th in Southampton, England. The former captain of the Indian cricket team who led the team to victory in the 1983 Cricket World Cup thinks India has an outstanding hitter ahead of the WTC final. He added that the batter’s quality was excellent in the finals.
The India vs New Zealand evaluation match runs from June 18th to June 22nd. The ICC WTC Finals will be held at the Rose Bowl Cricket Ground in Southampton. Kapil also focused on the performance of the Rishabh Pant.
He gave advice to left-handed Batsman and the Indian wicket keeper Batsman to try to hit every ball, and he advised that he needed to spend more time in the middle. Now speaking to the captain, the former captain and all-rounder warned about the attack, hoping that Virat would excel. Kapil thinks the claim has to wait for the “moment of domination.”
