Mohammad Esmaeil Nabibakhsh is a professional kabaddi player who plays for Iran National Team and Bengal Warriors in the Pro Kabaddi League. He is popularly called Moein Nabibakhsh. Nabibakhsh was born on 17 September 1991 in Mazandaran province of Iran. He was the most expensive foreign buy for the season bagging a sum of ₹77.75 lakh. Moein Nabibakhsh was part of the Iran Kabaddi team that won the Gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games. Currently, he is pursuing a bachelor’s in physical education at Shomal University in Iran.


Nabibakhsh started his Pro Kabaddi League career in Season 9 with Bengal Warriors. He got off to a flying start in his debut match by scoring a super 10. Nabibakhsh was a valuable asset as he contributing points both in raids and defense. Hence, He is one of the few players in the history of Pro Kabaddi League to score a Super 10 and High 5 in the same match. Moein took over the captaincy from Maninder Singh. After Maninder was ruled out due to a shoulder injury. He captained the team in the semi-finals and the finals, therefore helped Bengal win the title first time in 9 seasons. Nabibakhsh scored 99 raid points in 232 raids and also 23 tackle points in 69 tackles. Hence, he was the most valuable player for Bengal Warriors in season 9
