Paul Pogba set to make Manchester United contract U-turn?

Paul Labile Pogba is a football player from France who plays for Premier League club Manchester United.  

 Who plays as a central midfielder and can switch to both offensive and defensive midfield roles depending on the situation. 

He can immediately draw anyone’s attention by his skillful play, creative playmaking, and goal-scoring capabilities.  

Background

Paul Pogba was born on the 15th march 1993 in Lagny-sur-Marne, France. He started kicking a football from the age of 6.

He uses to play for US Roissy-en-Brie, He was the under thirteen captain, later he decided to join Le Havre for playing professional football. 

On 30th July 2009, he joined Manchester United’s youth team. 

2 years later he was called to join the first team although he continued with the youth side. 

Career 

In 2011-12 seasons, Pogba joined the senior team on a permanent basis. 

He made his debut on 31 January 2012 in the Premier League against Stoke City. 

On 22 March 2013, he made his international debut for the French national team against Georgia in the world cup 2014 qualifier match which France won 3-1. 

In 2012 Pogba left the Manchester United club after not signing the new contract. He decided to join the Italian club Juventus. 

In that season his first goal was against Napoli in a 2-0 win, later as well he contributed to his team in the winning matches.  

Pogba made an MVP performance against Lazio and the team won the match by 4-0 in August 2013. 

Later that year he was given the title of 2013’s Golden Boy for the best young player in Europe. 

In 2015 he was the key player in Juventus as he helped to secure the Italian league title 2015 and topped the assist list of Series A. 

Pogba made 124 appearances and scored 24 goals in his career with Juventus. 

PAUL POGBA AFTER 2016

On 8 August 2016, he joined Manchester United again on a fee of 105 million Euros plus a bonus of 5 million Euros.

He played 51 games and scored 9 goals and made 6 assists in the 2016-17 season, showing that he is a very effective middle man. 

Pogba helped France to secure multiple victories in the 2014 World Cup and was awarded the tournament’s Best Young Player title. 

During Euro 2016 he won the quarter-final match against Iceland which he won 5-2 by scoring and dominating the midfield. 

In the semi-final, he helped by assisting Antoine Grizemann to secure a win against Germany,

 Although they lost I the final by one goal from Portugal. 

France won the world cup by a score of 4-2 in 2018. 

In 2021, Pogba helped his team to score 3 goals scoring 1 himself and giving 2 assists in the semi-finals. And united won 6-2 against Roma. 

Later Pogba was tested positive 2 times for doping, he was fasting during the games was reported by him.
