Marcus Rashford is a professional footballer who plays as a forward currently for Manchester United in the Premier League and England National Team. He has received Member of the Order of the British Empire: 2020 and BBC Expert Panel Special Award and Glamour Award for Game-Changing Man for helping needy children.

Background

Marcus Rashford was born on the 31st of October in 1997 in Manchester, England. Marcus started his career at a very young age. AT the age of 5 ,he started playing for Fletcher Moss Ranger club, later in 2005, he moved to Manchester United he represented England under-16, under-18, under-20, and under-21. In 2016 he made it into the main team of England.

In his debut game he was playing under Manchester United, the Year 2016 he scored twice in the second half marking his presence which eventually led to a 5-1 victory. On the 27th of May 2016, he made his International debut for England in a warm-up game against Australia. He scored a goal in just 3 minutes from the start; England did beat Australia from 2-1.  

Career

Marcus has an extendable contract with Manchester United club till 2020. He has played 72 matches scoring 16 goals for the club.

He is the youngest scorer of the Manchester United as he scored 2 goals in his debut match. After few days he scored twice against Arsenal in the Premier League.

In 15-16, he had a great season as he scored 8 goals in 18 appearances ,also he won the Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year.

He became the youngest English player . He scored in his International debut, he scored 2 goals against Liverpool in a 2-1 victory he made all the goals

When he was 18 he became the youngest English footballer to represent the club in any European championship.
