It’s the end of the sixth match of PSL after its resumption. Islamabad United defeat Lahore Qalandars in the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Opening the batting for Islamabad United was the experienced foreign pair, Usman Khawaja and Colin Munro. The bowlers from Lahore started the innings with determination and did not give any easy runs to the batsman. Islamabad lost 5 wickets in the powerplay and looked in deep trouble. Asif Ali and Ifthikar Ahmed stuck together in the middle and helped Islamabad bounce back from the shaky start. The pair made a century run stand. United ended 152/7 in their quota of 20 overs. Asif Ali was the best batsman for Islamabad United scoring 75. For Lahore Qalandars James Faulkner was the best bowler picking up 3 wickets and giving 19 runs in 4 overs.
Opening the batting for Lahore Qalandars were Fakhar Zaman and captain Sohail Akhtar. The openers got off to a good start and had a half-century partnership. Quetta kept losing wickets in intervals and no batsman could stay in the middle. They completed 124/10 in 18.2 overs. For Lahore Qalandars Fakhar Zaman was the pick of the batsmen scoring 44 runs. For Islamabad, United Musa Khan was the pick of the bowlers. Picking up 3 wickets and giving away only 18 runs in 3 overs. Islamabad United won the game by 28 runs.
