The final league stage match of the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) will decide the fourth and final team in the playoffs. The match will be played between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Tuesday, November 3 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
If SRH win the game, they will make the next round on the net run rate, which is at +0.555, the second best after the Mumbai-based team. Their victory will also mean that Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), who beat Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 60 runs, will be eliminated from the tournament.
Pitch and Conditions
The pitch in Sharjah has slowed down significantly from before. Earlier, scores of above 200 were bread and butter for the teams, but things have started to change. Scores have started to come down and the track isn’t an overly batting paradise anymore.
The playing conditions won’t be overly warm with the temperature around 29 degrees Celsius. The humidity will be in the 50s with dew to play a major role.

Probable Top Performers for SRH vs MI
David Warner– Sunrisers Hyderabad
David Warner is currently the leading run-scorer for the Sunrisers in the ongoing edition of the T20 tournament. The left-hander has 444 runs at an average and strike-rate of 37 and 134.95 respectively.
But all those efforts will be of no use if the Sunrisers doesn’t win the game and fails to make the playoffs. The Orange Army will be hoping for the veteran batsman to step up and play a substantial knock.
Quinton de Kock– Mumbai Indians
Quinton de Kock has been in jaw-dropping form in the tournament. The southpaw has 418 runs from 13 matches at an average and strike-rate of 38 and 135.71 respectively. He has four half-centuries to show for his efforts.
The left-hander has been a major reason behind Mumbai being able to make use of the powerplay. The South African will be keen to make a mark by playing another substantial knock in crisis.
