10000 Runs at Home
Only a handful of players have had the chance to get to 10000 runs at home, Virat Kohli is one of them. He is only the second Indian after Sachin Tendulkar to reach this milestone. It took him 195 innings to get these runs. Which is the fastest not just by an Indian but amongst all the players in the world.
Virat Kohli
In the first ODI against England in the England tour of India on Tuesday, Virat Kohli was playing well, and he scored a half-century in the match. He got to the landmark in this match in Pune after he took a single off Tom Curran’s bowling. He was driving, cutting, and pulling the ball with ease and scored 56 runs in 60 balls. It was him and Shikhar Dhawan who made a partnership of over 100 runs and helped India reach a good total.
Virat Kohli had some issues in getting runs in white-ball cricket for some time, until the recent T20 series against England. He scored most runs in the t20 series. And now, he is continuing his form in the ODI series as well.
The audience is also eager to see him score a century. It has been almost one and a half years since he scored a century in international cricket.
