England can win the T20 World Cup this year regardless of the absence of all-rounder Ben Stokes. Also, quirky fast bowler Jofra Archer. Buttler said that even if they are missing these key players. England actually have match winners in their armoury.

Mentor Chris Silverwood named player Liam Livingstone and fast bowler Tymal Mills as the substitutes in the England team. World cup 2021 will be held in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from October 17.

Buttler has his say:

“We are absolutely one of the top picks, we are a splendid team,” Buttler said on Saturday. “I realize we will be missing Ben and Jofra, two wizards, yet you actually see down the line and there’s some genuine match-winners in our side,” said Buttler, as per Reuters.

“Liam Livingstone, with the manner in which his game was in those T20 series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan and The Hundred, he will go into the World Cup with phenomenal a touch.

“Furthermore, seeing Tymal Mills…returning is an incredible story for him. He has that golden left-arm. That outrageous speed and he has a very deceptive slow ball too. He is an incredible person to have in your team who can create a ton of issues for the opposition,” said Buttler.

Driven by captain Eoin Morgan, they take on West Indies in the first match of the this year’s World Cup on October 23 in Dubai.
