With Liverpool and Tottenham in the Champions League final, here’s everything you need to know about the European showcase
Liverpool and Tottenham will meet in this season’s Champions League final after pulling off two of the most remarkable comebacks in the competition’s history.
The Reds were the first to book their place in Madrid after overcoming a 3-0 deficit against Barcelona, before Spurs pulled off the same within the space of 45 minutes.
Ajax held a 1-0 lead from the first leg of their semi-final before scoring twice in the first-half at the Johan Cruyff Arena to secure a seemingly unsurpassable three-goal lead.
But not to be outdone by their Premier League rivals, Spurs came back with Lucas Moura netting a dramatic hat-trick to send his side through to their first ever final.
