By signing 4-time champions league winner Varane and Ronaldo, Manchester United will make sure they don’t get out of the group stage like last season. United has enough experience to top this group, however, they will be a bit wary about Villareal, who beat them in the Europa League final last season.
Atalanta made their first champions league appearance last season and impressed everyone by reaching the quarter-finals. They play a very attacking style of football and will cause problems. They will aim to battle it out for the second position.
The Swiss team, Young Boys FC have been in the Champions League before but will find it difficult this year, as the quality in their group is very high.

Relatively, Group G doesn’t have the bigger teams in their group, this will give hope to all the teams for making the Round of 16.
French champions, LOSC Lille, will look to take their confidence into the European competition and make it out of the group.
Sevilla should be making it out of this group, as they’ve always proven to be a tough European fixture, even for the bigger teams.
Austrian side RB Salzburg had Erling Haaland as their striker last time they were in this competition. Since then, they’ve let many of their players go, but they play some good attacking football and will be looking to perform well.
