Eden Michael Hazard is an international footballer who plays for the Belgium National Team Real Madrid. Eden played for the national teams in the youth levels as well as the senior team. Representing Belgium in the 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cup. Eden has made more than 100 appearances for the national team. Eden has been the first non-French player to win the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year twice. He is also the youngest to win the Ligue 1 Player of the Year. Hazard has won many laurels which are PFA Young Player of the Year, FWA Footballer of the Year, PFA Players Player of the Year. Eden was included in the FIFA FIFPro World 11 in 2018.
Eden was born on 7 January 1991 in La Louvière, Belgium. Being born in a football-dominant family where both his parents were footballers in Belgium.
Eden has represented the Belgian National Team at the U-15, U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19, and also the senior level. Being a regular member at the U-17 and U-19 teams. Eden, therefore, represented the youth teams at the 2007 UEFA European Under 17 Football Championship, 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup, and the 2009 UEFA European Under 19 Football Championship.
Eden received his first national senior team call-up on 18 November 2008, hence making his debut on 19 November 2008. Hazard became the eighth youngest international player in Belgian football making history to debut at 17 years and 316 days. He helped Belgium qualify for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and, therefore was named in the squad for the FIFA World Cup 2014. Hazard captained Belgium for the first time on 7 June 2015. Eden was appointed as the captain for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Hazard helped Belgium reach the semi-finals of the World Cup for the second time in their history. Hazard was therefore awarded the Silver Ball for the exemplary performance at the 2018 World cup.
Eden began his football career playing for hometown club Royal Stade Brainois at age four. He then went to Tubize. Before being discovered by the French club Lille while playing for Tubize in a local tournament. On 28 May 2007, Hazard signed his first professional contract. He helped Lille win the Ligue 1 title and the Coupe de France. On 4 June 2012, he signed for Chelsea. Eden made his Chelsea debut on 12 August 2012. Hazard influenced Chelsea too many different championships like the UEFA Champions League, Premier League title, FA Cup, UEFA Europa League. Eden signed for Real Madrid on 7 June 2019. Hazard made his debut for Real Madrid on 14 September 2019.
