On Sunday in the Premier League, the two teams who are top contenders for the Premier League face off against each other. London derby between two of the surprising teams of the season, and Spurs are trying to get their season back on track. Let’s preview the games taking place on Premier League’s super Sunday.

Tottenham vs Aston Villa

Spurs are on a run of bad form, Conceding nine goals in their past three games. Defeat in the North London Derby would’ve hurt Nuno and his men a lot. Harry Kane and co. need to get points on the board as they have slipped down to the 11th position. They come up against a tough Aston Villa side, who is in the eighth position.

Villa bought in a lot of new players after selling Jack Grealish for £100M to Manchester City. The team took time to gel, but Dean Smith looks to have found a system that works for the team. They are going into this game after a well-deserved 1-0 against Manchester United at Old Trafford. Captain Mings and the team will be looking to capitalize against an out-of-form Tottenham.

West Ham vs Brentford

This London derby is much awaited as both the teams have been performing very well in the starting weeks of the premier league. West Ham isP in 7th and Brentford in 9th, both surprising the premier league and are tough fixtures for even the big teams.

Antonio for West Ham is the joint top scorer in the Premier League, and with Fornals and Benrahma, the attacking trio of The Irons has been in great form. West ham, under the captaincy of Declan Rice this season is a force to reckon with, and David Moyes has got them playing a similar style he used to with Everton back in 2008/09.

Brentford is the only newly promoted team performing well in every game and looks fully at home in the top tier of English football. Tomas Frank play a very attacking back five, which they showed by putting three past Liverpool. Tomas Frank’s men have had an impressive start to the season, and continue to carry this form throughout the year and confirm that status in the League.

Crystal Palace vs Leicester City

The Eagles played well against Brighton, but conceded a late goal and were only able to get a draw. New signing Gallagher and Edouard have been impressive and looks like the Palace fans have taken to them very well. Patrick Viera’s style now looks to be implemented fully in the team, and they will fancy their chances against a Leicester side that have been below-par this season.

Brendan Rodgers side has been very poor this season, and in 13th position having only won two games in the season yet. The output of Maddison hasn’t been good enough, and the defense without Jonny Evans has been very shaky.

Liverpool vs Manchester City

It’s the clash of the top two teams. Liverpool is ahead of the chasing pack by one point on 14, and Manchester City is second in the table. Jurgen Klopp’s team is the only team still unbeaten and Pep’s men would like to change that.

Manchester City just lost in the Champions League vs PSG but got a great result against Chelsea last week. We are slowly seeing De Bruyne come into his own in this season, and start linking up with Grealish and Foden.

Liverpool’s Curtis Jones looked very impressive in the Champions League, and could probably start for them. Klopp’s men conceded three against Brentford last week, but that seemed like a one-off as they’ve been very solid defensively. Mohammed Salah is the top scorer in the premier league, and I believe he’s at this moment the best forward in the league.
