In the other game, Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspurs took on Leicester City. A weak performance from Hotspurs, right before the whistle of first half, Jamie Vardy scored a penalty to open the scoreline. In the second half, Toby Alderweireld gave away another goal to Leicester City to put them in front with 2 goal lead. At the end, Leicester City won with the scoreline 2 – 0.
Manchester United were facing Leeds United, Manchester United were the conquerors for the match, in the initial minutes of the game, Scott McTominay scored two back to back goals, to put his team in the top gear. McTominay was followed by Bruno Fernandes and Victor Lindelof to put their team in front with a four goal lead. In the 42nd minute, Liam Cooper scored the opening goal for Leeds. In the second half, Daniel James joined the scoring party and Bruno Fernandes backed another goal to his name by scoring a penalty. Stuart Dallas scored a goal for Leeds in the last 20 minutes of the game. The match ended up with a score line 6 – 2, helping Manchester United climb the table and be a part of the title race.
