Luke Shaw: Biography
Luke Paul Hoare Shaw come on the earth on 12 July 1995. He is an English professional footballer & he plays as a left-back especially. He playing football for two teams basically which are named as:
- Premier League club Manchester United
- England national team.
Luke Shaw was eight years old when he started his career at Southampton after joining their academy. He made his way up through the ranks. When he was playing for the U18s, he attracting the attention of Premier League clubs.
After 11 years, he joined Southampton. Shaw was sold to Manchester United for £27 million. He sold with the possibility of the fee rising to £31 million based on his performances for the club.
The young left-back already has 3 England caps to his name. He has just returned from Brazil after making the World Cup squad.
As he is one of the member of Southampton’s youth system. Shaw made his first-team debut for the club in January 2012. In June 2014, Shaw was signed by Manchester United for £30 million. After that he is a world record transfer fee for a teenager.
On 5 March 2014, he made his senior international debut for the England team. Later that year he got selected in the squad for the FIFA World Cup.
Shaw was born in Kingston upon Thames which is situated in London. His parents admitted him in Rydens Enterprise School in Hersham which is situated in Surrey. He grew up as a Chelsea supporter. So, he originally wanted to play for the London club
