Going into the second month of the Premier League, fans have got an idea of what’s In-store for their particular team. Let’s take a look at the fixtures being played this Saturday and how the teams will fair.

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Hotspur

Nuno tottenham premier league

Crystal palace: Patrick Viera and his new team haven’t had a great start to the season, failing to score in 2 out of their 3 games. They lie in 14th position with 2 draws and 1 loss. New signing Michael Olise is available and club captain Luka Milevojvic will return from injury.

Tottenham Hotspur: Table-toppers Tottenham is the team still with a 100% record. Nuno’s team hasn’t conceded a single and managed to win all their games 1-0.
Youth product, Oliver Skipp has been a mainstay in the midfield, playing 90 minutes of all the games. Lo Celso and Romero are quarantining in Argentina. Harry Kane should also be available from the start.

Prediction: Spurs have a good record at Selhurst Park. Patrick Viera’s team will make it difficult for the away side, but expect Spurs to come away with another tight victory.

Watford vs Wolves

Watford: They will be happy to come back to Vicarage road, as they beat Villa in the first game of the season. They’ve taken two losses away from home and are currently 12th on the table.

Wolves: Bruno Lage’s men have lost all three games and managed to score zero goals. Their performances have deserved more than 18th as Trincao and Adama Traore looked to link up well. New signing Hwang Hee-Chan might get a start, as Jimenez is out Isolating.

Prediction: Wolves will be finally looking to get off the mark whereas, Watford will be looking to defend their home soil. Wolves looked very impressive against Manchester United and I back them to get the victory.

Brentford vs Brighton

Brentford: The only new promoted team to not be beaten. Tomas Frank’s men have looked tactically sound and are playing some exciting football. Striker, Ivan Toney bagged his first goal of the season against Villa last weekend. They are currently in 10th. Onyeka will be isolating & midfielder Josh Da Silva is still not available.

Brighton: Graham Potter’s men are one of the most pleasing teams to watch in the premier league and ‘XG’ always has them amongst the top 5/6 chances created by the teams. This year they have not only been getting in good positions but also converting their chances. Having won their first 2 games and lost 1, they are In 8th. Lamptey is still injured but, the new signing Mwepu is likely to start.

Prediction: Both teams play good possession-based football also, are high pressing teams. It will be an interesting watch expect goals but seems to be a draw.

Arsenal vs Norwich City

Arsenal: 3 games, 3 losses, and 9 goals conceded. The pressure is well and truly on Mikel Arteta. In a battle of 20th vs 19th, Arsenal can not afford to drop any points in this game. Xhaka is suspended due to seeing red in the previous game. New signing Odegaard and Saka must start as they are their main attacking outlets.

Arsenal Arteta Premier League

Norwich City: Norwich has also lost their first 3 games but against big teams Liverpool, Man City, and Leicester. Norwich always tries to play good football and this will be their chance to impress the only team lower than them in the table.

Prediction: The only team to concede more goals than Arsenal is Norwich. Daniel Farke’s men will like this opportunity however, there’s no room for mistakes from Arsenal and they should definitely be winning this game.

Manchester United vs Newcastle United

Manchester United: With 2 wins and 1 loss, Man United is in third. They didn’t look convincing against Wolves, but players like Greenwood and Pogba are in sublime form. Mason Greenwood has 3 goals in 3 games and Pogba’s got 5 assists to start of this season. The return of Cristiano Ronaldo will take place in this game. The crowd will be ready to see their legend back at the club. Fans will be super loud, and I expect Manchester United to give them a good show.

Newcastle United: Still winless in three, Steve Bruce and his men look like a club that’s gonna go down this season. The same squad has been together for 3-4 years now and they are regularly around that 17th position. Allan-Saint Maximin has been good, but no support from anyone else. Key players including the likes of Wilson and Dummet are injured.

Prediction: This is a momentous occasion for Manchester United and the fans. Newcastle will probably crumble under the sheer noise in the stadium. Expecting a comfortable victory for Manchester United. Cristiano will get his appearance off the bench, Jadon Sancho should also have a good game.

Southampton vs West Ham

Southampton: Ralph Hassenhuttl’s men are still looking for their 1st victory of the season. They’ve, however, only lost one game and lie in 13th position. They scraped a draw against Newcastle but looked decent against Manchester United. Lung-busting midfielder, Stuart Armstrong is still missing through injury.

West Ham: David Moyes has turned this team into a great unit. The Hammers are 2nd in the table, having scored 10 goals. With new signings, Kurt Zouma and Nikola Vlasic to come in the side, this team is only looking to get stronger.

Prediction: The Saint’s are still looking for their first win of the season, but it doesn’t look likely to come against West Ham. Antonio and Benrahma are in top form and should be able to guide the irons to a win.

Leicester City vs Manchester City

Leicester Man city Premier league

Leicester City: Brendan Rodger’s side has won 2 out of their 3 games and is in 9th position. New signing, Ademola Lookman is likely to start as right-winger Ayoze Perez got sent off vs West Ham. Ricardo Pereira who started the season well is also out injured with several other defenders of the squad.

Manchester City: Pep Guardiola’s ‘non-striker’s Manchester City is in 7th with 2 wins and 1 loss. The team found no issue in scoring 5 past Arsenal. The Brazillian duo of Ederson and Jesus are isolating. Midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is still not fully fit.

Prediction: Last season’s first game including these teams ended in a 5-2 win for Leicester City. Pep will be looking to avenge this and have his team extra pumped up. This is the star game on Saturday but I expect Manchester City to have better quality and win the game.

Chelsea vs Aston Villa

Chelsea: 4th position Chelsea is still unbeaten and, with the signing of Saul the already stacked team will be looking to bounce back to winnings ways. They will be missing Reece James due to his handball against Liverpool. Kai Havertz and Kante are both likely to miss out due to injury.

Aston Villa: Dean Smith’s men haven’t looked the same since losing Grealish. The team in 11th have won 1 lost 1 and drawn 1. Emi Martinez & Buendia will be missing due to isolation. Second keep Steer and the back four will have a hard time but are defensively solid to hold off Chelsea.

Prediction: Chelsea has looked too strong to be stopped by anyone. Tyrone Ming and co. I believe will fall just a bit short due to Chelsea’s depth and quality. Chelsea win is expected.
