West Indies vs Sri Lanka pre-match update
The 3rd ODI of the West Indies vs Sri Lanka series is to be played on the 14th of March at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. IST. Two matches of the series are already played, and West Indies has won both of them. Sri Lanka has lost the series, but they can still win the last match. There are some departments that Sri Lanka needs to work on if they want to win the next match.
3rd ODI
Sri Lank is heavily dependent on their top-order batsmen. They are the ones who score the most number of runs. If they fail, Sri Lanka might not even get to a respectable total. The middle-order needs to take more responsibility for the game and deliver what is expected out of them. Their bowling unit also needs some direction. They are unable to take wickets, and as a result, batsmen are taking advantage and can win the match easily.
West Indies have been very good in this series. The bowlers have been decent, and the top-order batting has been phenomenal. Openers Evin Lewis and Shai Hope have done the job in both games. Hope scored a century in the first match, and Lewis scored a century in the second match.
Sri Lanka would be hoping to play better this time and win the game.
