Virat Kohli has announced on Thursday evening that T20 World Cup 2021 will be his last assignment as T20 Captain for India. He is all set to step down from T20 Captaincy after T20 World cup.
But he will remain the captain in the other two formats – ODI and TESTS. His recent performance as a captain in Tests has led India to win the series against England for the first-time in 13 years. The silver lining is that he has not won even a single tournament for India as captain.

“After a lot of contemplation and discussion with my close people, Ravi bhai and also Rohit, who have been an essential part of the leadership group, I have decided to step down as the T20 captain after this T20 World Cup in Dubai in October,” Kohli said in a lengthy Instagram and Twitter post.
