Rahul Dravid is set to become the Indian Team’s new Head Coach.

According to reports, Rahul Dravid has agreed to take over as the Head Coach after the T20 World Cup.


India’s U-19 coach, Rahul Dravid, will become the Head Coach of India’s Men Team. Earlier, Rahul had refused to become the coach of the Indian cricket team. The meeting with Sourav Ganguly and Jay Shah on the night of the IPL Final has driven him to take the role for Indian cricket’s future.


Dravid will take the baton from current coach Ravi Shastri, touring for T20 World Cup as his last coaching assignment. Ravi Shastri’s tenure is ending due to BCCI rules on Age. Also, there will be a change in the whole coaching staff, as Praveen Mhmarey will take the responsibility of Bowling coach. At the same time, the decision on R. Shridar (Fielding coach) will be reviewed for the upcoming tours. Meanwhile, Vikram Rathour will remain the Batting coach for the Indian setup.
