Going into the 7th match of PSL, to be played between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans, both these teams have played two matches. Qalandars have won both their matches quite comfortably and have been good in their approach while chasing down the target. Sultans, on the other hand, have lost both their matches, their batting has been really good, but the reason that they have lost is their bowling, they have not been able to defend their totals. They almost defended their score in the first match but gave it away in the end. Although it has become difficult to defend in T20 cricket, it is not impossible and they need to up their bowling game.
Players to watch out for in this match:
- Shaheen Afridi (LQ) – This 20-year-old left-arm pacer has made a good name in world cricket in no time. In their first game of the season, he won the Man of the Match.
- Fakhar Zaman (LQ) – He was in good form in the previous match in which he scored 82* of 52 balls and he can continue doing so in this match as well.
- Mohammad Rizwan (MS) – He has performed in both the games for his team so far, scoring a fifty in one of the matches and a total of 112 runs so far.
Toss:
The team winning the toss would want to bowl first as all the matches in this season are won by the teams batting second. And that is how it works these days in such series, chasing down targets has become a lot easier.
