Pakistan announces squads for England and West Indies tour

Pakistan announces squads for the upcoming series with England and West Indies. Haris Sohail and Imad Wasim made a comeback to the ODI and T20I squads.  Uncapped Azam Khan is included in the T20I squad. Mohammad Abbas and Naseem Shah also made a comeback to the Test squad. Uncapped Saud Shakeel has also reclaimed his spot after missing the South Africa ODIs due to an injury. 

Pakistan is to play 3 ODI’s, 3 T20’s against England starting from 8th July. Also, they are to play 5 T20’s and 2 Tests against West Indies from 27th July.

Therefore, the squads are as follows-

T20- Babar Azam (c), Shadab Khan (vc), Arshad Iqbal, Azam Khan (Sindh), Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Haider Ali, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Mohammad Wasim Jnr, Sarfaraz Ahmed (wk), Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sharjeel Khan, and Usman Qadir

ODI- Babar Azam (c), Shadab Khan (vc), Abdullah Shafique, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Haider Ali, Haris Rauf, Haris Sohail, Hasan Ali, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Salman Ali Agha, Sarfaraz Ahmed (wk), Saud Shakeel, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Usman Qadir.

Test- Babar Azam (c), Mohammad Rizwan (wk) (vc), Abdullah Shafique, Abid Ali, Azhar Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Fawad Alam, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Imran Butt, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah, Nauman Ali, Sajid Khan, Sarfaraz Ahmed (wk), Saud Shakeel, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shahnawaz Dahani, Yasir Shah (subject to fitness) and Zahid Mahmood.

Hence, the squads will depart for the United Kingdom after the completion of the Pakistan Super League.
