New Zealand takes on England in a test series of 2 matches. Before New Zealand will face off against India in the finals of the World Test Championship.
The test series is not included in the World Test Championship schedule, the two teams would be locking horns to overcome the losses made by the cricket board during the Covid 19 Pandemic and boost the cricket economy.
The first test is going to take place from 2nd June to 6th June in Lord’s. the second test is going to take place from 10th June to 14th June in Birmingham.
The kiwis would get the much-required practice and accustomed to the English conditions before they face India in the Finals of the World Test Championship.
The previous time the two teams met in a test series. New Zealand defeated England 1-0 in a two-match series.
The last time the two teams faced each other at lords. It was in the 2019 World Cup Final when England beat New Zealand in super over.
New Zealand would be without Trent Boult in the first test match. England would be without a few of their main players like Jos Butler, Jonny Bairstow, Jofra Archer, Ben Stokes
