Multan Sultans defeat Quetta Gladiators in the 25th match of PSL 2021

It’s the end of the eleventh match of PSL after its resumption. Multan Sultans defeat Quetta Gladiators in the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Sarfaraz Ahmed captain of Quetta Gladiators won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Opening the batting for Multan Sultans was Shan Maqsood and captain Mohammad Rizwan. The openers got off to a good start and crossed the half-century run stand. Shan Maqsood crossed the half-century mark. A major contribution was made by Johnson Charles. He missed out on his half-century by just 3 runs. Sultans ended 183/5 in their quota of 20 overs. Shan Maqsood was the pick of the batsman scoring 73. Khurram Shahzad was the pick of the bowlers picking up two wickets for Quetta.

Opening the batting for Quetta Gladiators was Usman Khan and Jack Weatherald. The openers started decently before the batting order collapsed. Gladiators ended 73/10 in 12.1 overs. For Quetta Gladiators Jack Weatherald was the best batsman scoring 19. For Multan Sultans Imran Tahir was the pick of the bowlers picking up 3 wickets and giving away only 7 runs in his 2 overs. He also bowled 1 maiden over. Each bowler for Sultans performed picking up a wicket. Multan Sultans defeat Quetta Gladiators by 110 runs.

Shan Maqsood won the man of the match award.
